Closee — Delete account

This page explains how users of the Closee dating app can delete their accounts. Closee is provided by developer Umut Yağız Yerli. This page belongs to the same Closee service shown under the app / developer name in Google Play.

How to delete your account

Follow one of the steps below:

1. In the app: Open Closee → Profile → Delete account and confirm.
2. By email: Send a message to info.closeeapp@gmail.com.
   • Subject: Account Deletion Request
   • Body: the email or username you use with Closee, plus a short note that helps us verify the account is yours
3. After we receive your request, we verify the account and start deletion. Deletion or anonymization is completed within a reasonable time (within 30 days).

Data that is deleted

When deletion is complete, the following data is deleted or anonymized, subject to legal retention requirements:

• Account and authentication (auth) data
• Profile data (name / display name, age, bio, photos, preferences)
• Location / distance data
• Swipe and match records
• Messaging content
• Notification tokens

Data retained or deleted later

Some data may not be removed immediately, or may be kept briefly:

• Security / fraud or legal retention records: as needed, generally up to 90 days
• Technical logs (device, error, security): generally 6–12 months
• Backups: may remain temporarily until the backup cycle ends, then are cleared
